(Palettes are empty to fill with your own colours or inks:) of Gilead wood Or Balsam Poplar,  mentioned in the bible as a panacea or to heal all things. These beautiful trees have rugged naturally scallops outer bark, our finishing reveals the natural red outer colour with a blond inner ring to a dappled center. Cut from reclaimed wood here on Manitoulin Island. Sanded and shaped to accentuate any character in the wood. Sealed with beeswax. As a natural piece of tree some bits of bark will come loose in shipping and over the life of the palette, if this is troublesome to you check out our pine palettes!
