Soap Nuggets - Small Kits!

Inspired by the mining era in Rossland, BC, and the surrounding area where gold, silver, and copper nuggets were the sought-after currency of the past, these small soap chunks are the perfect base of a fun and easy felted soap craft for children and adults alike. This makes a great party project and these small kits are ideally sized for an individual child. Each small kit includes

• 3 pieces of handcrafted soap in assorted colours and scents (made in British Columbia from 100% natural ingredients)
• 10 g of fibre (Corriedale or merino Corriedale blend)
• an organza bag (10 cm x 15 cm) that is used during the felting process. 

Create some nuggets as guest soaps, individual camp soaps, or just a personalized and pretty soap collection. The nuggets of soap can be covered by a single colour or a mixture of fibres, making them as individual as the person creating them. Once covered by a pure wool felting, the soap has a mild exfoliating effect when used. Felting it also helps the all-natural soap to last (even floating in the bathtub).

This practical craft is an ideal activity for children of all ages—providing an opportunity to learn about the properties of wool fibre, the sensory sensations of working and creating with hands, and the satisfaction of being able to use the finished product.

As an added bonus it is easy for the supervising adult to follow along with the tutorial and create something for themselves as well.

All soaps contains: coconut oil, sodium hydroxide, hemp oil, and spring water
