Fibre & Fantasy is our Thursday class theme as we journey into the world of creative exploration, play and mess. Humans are all born creative, with the desire to explore and be curious, to reflect the world around us in through using our hands and the materials at hand. Creative play, fun and mess aim to encourage this inherent multimedia exploration based on theme, project and skill goals. 

Spring Session begins the week of April 9th and end the week of May 27th. A Seven Week Session ~  all classes are drop off unless otherwise indicated.

Thursday ~ April 13th to May 25th

Story Telling with Figures ~ Creative Play ~ Ages 5 to 9 ~ 2:45pm to 4:00pm

Sculpture & Painting ~ Creative Fun ~ Ages 8+ ~ 4:15pm to 5:30pm

Tuesday

Creative Play ~ Ages 2* to 5 ~ 11:00am to 12:00pm

Creative Play ~ Ages 5 to 9 ~ 2:45pm to 4:00pm

Drawing & Printmaking ~ Creative Fun Ages 8+ ~ 4:15pm to 5:30pm

*2year olds must be accompanied by a caregiver in this class.

Wednesday

Creative Mess ~ Ages 2* to 5 ~ 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Creative Play ~ Ages 5 to 9 ~ 2:45pm to 4:00pm

Multimedia Exploration ~ Creative Mess ~ Ages 8+ ~ 4:15pm to 5:30pm

Class Styles

Creative Play ~ Creative Play classes are all about exploring mediums, materials and skills. The focus of these classes is creative exploration within the focus of a project goal.

Creative Fun ~ Creative Fun classes are all about skills. This style of class will include creative exploration and multimedia with a focus on formal visual art skills ~ Drawing, painting, sculpture, print making, etc. Students will be able to choose their project subject in most cases.

Creative Mess ~ Creative mess classes are a medium and material exploration class. 3 to 5 materials will provided with each class and participants will be supported to creating their own projects. This class will include guidance in the process of project creation and support for the skills needed.

All classes will include elements of each other, creative mess sessions will be a part of the makeup of creative play classes, just as creative fun will allow for a more project subject freedom like in creative mess, but with a focus on specific fine art skills. Creative play starts us off in almost every class as we head to our sketchbooks to work

For all classes

We offer after school pick up at RSS only. There will be a place to  indicate a desire or not for this on the registration form.

Please be aware children will be instructed in various mediums and skills, it is expected that we will get messy meaning that children should come dressed appropriately for an art class. Multimedia art comes with minimal risks which can be found mostly in the form of painty hands, cloths, hair, sparkles that get everywhere, as well as minor injury such as  burned and cut fingers.

Local Pick Up! ~ Free 

If you are local to the Rossland area you can opt to pick up your order at my studio. This is by appointment so please use the contact us form. Shipping fees will be refunded for in stock items only.

Important Shipping Information

~ All prices are in Canadian Dollars.

~ Our flat rates include most orders. We are working diligently to insure that the shipping you see in the cart reflects the shipping locations, however this is a process so please bear with us while we perfect it.

~ An example of where you may see additional shipping charges; drop ship orders and orders with items that ship from multiple locations, ie the Studio & Shop in Rossland, BC and drop ship from a supplier elsewhere may incur additional shipping.

~ We will contact you at the same time as invoicing for any additional shipping. Necessary shipping overages will be invoiced and must be paid prior to shipment. Overages will only be charged when significant and necessary.

~ Orders originating from my studio will be shipped Canada Post within five business days, additional delays due to holidays etc in shipping may occur. Please notify us in the order notes if the order being placed is a Rush Order, additional charges for rush orders will apply. 

~ All drop ship orders will be shipped directly from the supplier using the most cost effective shipping method. 

~ Please be aware that due too worldwide shortages and shipping delays, Drop Ship Orders may take longer then expected. Items not in stock with the supplier will be automatically backordered and ship to you when they arrive. You will be notified via email with any information we have at the time. You are welcome to check in with us at any point about your order by replying to any correspondence we have sent you. 

Extra Important!

If you wish not to accept the additional shipping charges or wait for backordered items and cancel your order we will do so at your request. We will return all charges minus 5% to cover the cost of the administration to do so.

LOST or Damaged Packages
Are insured up to the replacement value of the item and will be dealt with according to the procedures of the delivery service. Please see Just One Please shipping section for exceptions.

Product damaged during shipment will be dealt with based on the carriers policy. Please acquaint yourself with the steps required to file a claim properly. Product is shipped properly insured and will not be replaced if the carrier refuses the claim. 

Due to dealer restrictions, while my site remains under construction, I am currently not accepting orders outside of Canada through this site. Please contact us directly if you see something you would like to purchase. It is my hope that I will be able to rectify this soon and ship further afield again.
